Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. This information is necessary to provide you with a personalized experience and secure access to the App.

Health and Wellness Data

The App collects health metrics to provide wellness insights, including:

• From the KIM Mat (via Bluetooth/BLE): Treatment session data and device usage patterns transmitted from the mat during active sessions.
• From Apple HealthKit (iOS) / Google Health Connect (Android): Sleep duration and quality, heart rate variability (HRV), step count, activity data, and other health metrics you choose to share.

You control which health data sources are enabled. We only access data categories you explicitly authorize.

Device Information

We automatically collect device type, operating system version, app version, and a unique device identifier to ensure compatibility and troubleshoot issues.

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage analytics such as feature interactions, session duration, and error logs to improve the App experience.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalize the App's wellness features, including your wellness score and AI-powered coaching
• Sync and display health metrics from your KIM mat and connected health platforms
• Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests
• Improve the App's performance, reliability, and features
• Ensure the security and integrity of our services

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Supabase: Cloud backend for authentication, database storage, and file storage. Your account data and health metrics are stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Apple HealthKit: Used on iOS devices to read health data you authorize. HealthKit data is never used for advertising. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Google Health Connect: Used on Android devices to read health data you authorize. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not share your health data with any other third parties unless required by law.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers provided by Supabase. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest to protect your information.

Bluetooth/BLE communications between the KIM mat and your device are handled locally on your phone. Raw BLE data is processed on-device before relevant metrics are stored.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Portability: Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
• Opt-Out: Opt out of certain data processing activities.

For California Residents (CCPA)

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
